Terms & Conditions
The following are the terms and conditions of the agreement between the guest and the Hotel [hereafter called “Management”] under which rooms are permitted to be used by the guest and are binding on the guest.
It is agreed that the Guest will conduct himself/herself in a respectable manner and not cause any nuisance or annoyance within the hotel’s premises. The Management reserves the absolute right to the admission of any person in the hotel premises. The Management reserves the right to request the guest to vacate his/her room or other areas of the hotel forthwith, without prior notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, and the Guest shall be bound to vacate when requested to do so. In default, the management shall have the right to remove the Guest’s luggage and belongings from the room occupied by him/her. The Management shall have the right to change the room allotted to the guest at any time, without assigning any reason thereof and without any previous notice, or to shift the Guest to any other suitable accommodation.
Guests are particularly requested to lock the door of their rooms while going out or when going to bed. The Management will not, in any manner whatsoever, be responsible for any loss and/or damage to the guest’s belonging or other property from either the hotel room or locker or any other part of the hotel for any cause whatsoever including theft/pilferage. By checking into this Hotel, the guest indemnifies the Hotel Owners, Lessees, Management firm, employees, service providers, attorneys and vendors of any act that is not within the control of the Management and the decision by the Management stands final and binding.
Bringing into and/or storing of raw or exposed cinemas films, or any other article of combustible or hazardous nature and/or prohibited goods and/or goods of objectionable nature in the hotel is prohibited. The guest shall be solely liable and responsible to the Management, its other guests, invitees, visitors, agents and servants for any loss, financial or other, and damage that may be caused by such articles or as a result of the guest’s own negligence and non-observance of any/all instructions.
Use of Hotel Facilities
- The Guest shall use all the facilities and services available at the hotel with care and caution and entirely at their own risk. The Guest shall agree to abide by and follow all instructions placed by the Management at the various places in the hotel premises. The Management shall not be responsible for any injury to the Guest or damage to the Guest’s goods that may be caused as a result of the use of the facilities /services or any other reason whatsoever.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the hotel premises. Use of narcotic substances and psychotropic substances are strictly prohibited in the hotel premise.
- Guests are requested not to bring any food from outside into the Hotel.
- Pets are not allowed inside the Hotel premises.
Primarily, it is assumed that the rooms will be used only for living purpose and cannot be used for any other activities/purposes like office accommodation, exhibition, entertainment, filming, interview, parties etc. or sublet to third parties unless expressively disclosed & confirmation taken thereof in writing from Hotel Management. In this respect, the Management discretion will be absolute, final & binding on you and by default guest indemnifies the Hotel and it’s Management
Rights of Admission
The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation and entry to the Restaurant, Banquet Halls and Bar can be denied to guests posing as a ‘couple’ or to any other guest who the Management deems suitable. Guest can be denied accommodation in the absence of suitable and acceptable proof of Identity. In-house guests are requested to refrain strictly from having any personal visitors to their rooms at any time of the day to ensure peace, security & tranquility of other Hotel guests/adjacent rooms, so that discomfort is not caused. Management reserves the right & authority to request the guest to use the hotel’s public areas for the continuation of discussion/meeting with their visitor. The primary guest checking into the hotel must be at least 18 years of age.
Guests are required to comply with all Covid-19 rules and the Hotel reserves the right to terminate the stay of any guests who are suffering from Covid-19 and place them to State sponsored Hospital at the cost of guest.
The tariff is for the room only. Meals and other services are available at extra cost unless and otherwise specified separately.
Departure and Check-in
Check-out time is 11am. The guest shall vacate the room allotted to him/her on expiry of the period of occupation granted to the guest. On failure of the guest to vacate the room on expiry of that period, the management shall have to right to remove the guest and his/her belongings from the room occupied by the guest, if the necessity arises. Check in time is 2pm.
Settlement of Bills
Bills must be settled on presentation. Personal Cheques are not accepted. All foreign nationals are required to settle their bills in Indian rupees, in keeping with the Government regulations at the particular time.
Hotel’s lien Guest Luggage and Belongings
In case of default in payment of dues by a guest, the management shall have a lien on the luggage and belongings, and be entitled to detain the same, and to sell or auction such belongings at any time without reference to the guest, and appropriate the net sale proceeds towards the amount due by the guest without prejudice to the Management’s right to adopt such further recovery proceedings as may be required.
Damage to Property
The guest/s will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the Hotel’s property caused by themselves and/or their visitors.
Relation between Management and Guest
Nothing hereinabove shall constitute or be deemed to constitute, or create, any tenancy or sub-tenancy, or any other right to or interest in the hotel premises or any part or portion thereof, in favour of any guest or resident or visitor, and the management shall always be deemed to be in full and absolute control of the whole of the hotel premises.
Application of Laws, Government Rules, and Regulations
The guest is requested to observe, abide by, conform to end be bound by all applicable acts and laws and Government rules and regulation in force from time to time.
Amendment of Rules
The management reserves the right to add or alter or amend any of the above terms, conditions, and rules.
Settlement of Disputes
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hon’ble courts of Sikkim.
